The cambelt is a toothed rubber belt which synchronizes the moving parts and the timing of the engine. It is held in place by pulleys that keep the belt at the correct tension. Changing the cambelt and tensioner pulleys at the correct interval will prevent the belt causing engine damage, ensuring the engine runs smoothly and correctly.
If left, the belt could stretch, skip, perish or break resulting in serious damage to the engine which can lead to an expensive repair. We recommend replacing your cambelt every 10 years or 90,000 miles, whichever comes soonest.
Our Volvo Cambelt special offer includes cambelt, tensioner, roller and aux belts, all replaced for £425.
