Promotions at Volvo Cars Poole

We are pleased to announce three promotions within Volvo Cars Poole. In the Service Department, Nicola Thompson is appointed to the role of Service Manager following Leanne Ledger’s promotion to General Manager at the end of 2020. Many of our customers will know Nicola from her time as a Service Advisor, a role she has held since joining us in 2017. In her new position, she will be responsible for both our service advisors and vehicle technicians, ensuring our aftersales customer service remains at the highest level.

In the workshop, Aaron Brierley is appointed Workshop Controller. This role requires Aaron to combine his duties as a vehicle technician with managing the workflow for the team to ensure servicing and repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Finally, in the Sales Department, Phil Haygreen is promoted to Used Cars Sales Manager. Phil will be another familiar face to many, having worked in the sales team since 2018. He will now be responsible for managing all elements of our Approved Used sales.

Leanne Ledger, General Manager, said: “I’d like to congratulate Nicola, Aaron, and Phil on their promotions, all of which are thoroughly deserved.

“Nicola has consistently gone above and beyond in her time as a Service Advisor and has risen to every challenge. She demonstrates incredible energy and enthusiasm for all that is Volvo and is always committed to providing outstanding customer service. 

“In the workshop, Aaron stepped forward earlier this year and has remained consistent, focused, and determined to succeed. This is a natural next step in his career and one that I am certain he will be successful in.

“Phil’s promotion is recognition of the great enthusiasm he has shown for both the Volvo brand and Volvo Cars Poole. He is calm under pressure and has always made sure his customers have an enjoyable and professional experience buying a Volvo.”

At the end of the agreement there are three options: i) retain the vehicle: pay the optional final payment to own the vehicle; ii) return the vehicle; or iii) replace: part exchange the vehicle, finance subject to status.
