Volvo XC40 in Poole Dorset
The award-winning Volvo XC40 offers SUV luxury in a more compact package. Available as the first ever pure electric Volvo, the Recharge XC40 P8 First Edition is now available to order with a range of 208 miles and zero emissions. It’s also available as a plug-in hybrid with the T4 or T5 Twin Engine, which can drive on electric power for up to 28-miles at speeds up to 84mph. Prefer a petrol? No problem - the T2 or T3 engines are brilliant, offering outstanding refinement, efficiency and power. Additionally, there are the B4 and B5 mild-hybrid petrol engines available offering lower emissions, greater fuel efficiency and free from charging cables.
Both the mild hybrid and petrol models come in a choice of trim levels. You can choose from the Momentum and Momentum Core or R-Design and Inscription trim levels, both of which are also available as upgraded ‘Pro’ versions.

Features like a 12” digital driver’s display, Dynamic Chassis, LED headlights, Lane Keeping Aid and cruise control are all features available through the range. Upgrade to a higher trim level to get leather upholstery and much more.
Design
If you like your SUVs sporty and compact, look no further than the XC40. It’s a miniaturised version of the bigger XC60 with an angular, muscular profile and beautiful LED headlights. It sits on 17”, 18” 19” or 20” alloy wheels and looks sensational.
Drive
Comfort, refinement and response are baked in. The XC40’s snappy automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive system provide immediate response, while the range of petrol and recharge engines provides enough oomph to put a smile on your face.
Practicality
With 460-litres of boot space and a whopping 1,366-litres with the rear seats down, the XC40 is ready for whatever you throw at it. The towing capacity on all-wheel drive models is 1,800kg on the T5 Recharge, and 2,100kg on the D4.
Living with it
The luxurious interior insulates you from the outside world and boasts state-of-the-art technology like a 9” touchscreen and 12.3” digital instrument cluster. Heated front seats, a heated windscreen and powered front seats are also available.
